Privacy policy
Last updated: July 25, 2026
This policy explains what information Fold & Ferry ("we"), operated by Type 5 Marketing LLC, collects and how we use it. We keep it short because we collect little — we have no user accounts, sell nothing directly, and store no payment information.
What we collect
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and which links are clicked, in aggregate. This uses cookies and collects standard usage data (pages viewed, approximate location, device/browser type). We don't use it to identify you personally.
- Contact form. If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email and message you submit, delivered to us by email so we can reply. We use it only to respond to you.
Affiliate links and cookies
When you click a buy link, our /goredirect sends you to a retailer (usually Amazon) with our affiliate tag. The retailer may set its own cookies to attribute a purchase to us — this is how affiliate commission works, and it's subject to that retailer's privacy policy, not ours. See our affiliate disclosure for details.
How we use information
To operate and improve the site, respond to your messages, and understand aggregate readership. We do not sell your personal information.
Third parties
The main third parties involved are Google (Analytics), Amazon (affiliate links and product data), and our hosting and email providers. Each processes data under its own privacy policy.
Your choices
You can block cookies in your browser and use browser or extension controls to limit analytics. You can contact us at info@foldandferry.com to ask about data associated with a message you sent us.
