Amazon-default links

Most of our buy links go to Amazon, where we participate in the Amazon Associates program. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. When you click a buy button, it passes through a short internal redirect (a /golink) that applies our Amazon tag and sends you to the product — that's the standard, disclosed mechanism affiliate publishers use to track referrals. The price you pay is exactly the same as if you'd gone to Amazon directly.

Products sold direct

A few brands (like Calpak and Monos) sell their cubes directly rather than on Amazon. When we link those, we link the brand's own store — and we tell you plainly on the page when we don'tearn a commission on that link. We'd rather point you to the honest place to buy than steer you to a worse product just because it pays.

It never changes our rankings

Commission does not influence which products we recommend or how we rank them. When a cheaper product is the better buy, we rank it first even though it pays us less. Our editorial policy spells out that independence, and our methodology shows exactly how picks are scored.

Prices change

Prices and availability are pulled live from Amazon and are accurate as of the date shown on each page. They change constantly — Amazon's price at checkout is always the one that counts. If we can't verify a fresh price, we don't show a number.
